Chariot of Seto Machendra Nath begins in the holy day of Chaite Dashai Festival, during this Chariot “Rath Jatra” festival thousands of people take part, numbers of traditional musical bands, Gurujuko Paltan (Traditional Gorka Soldiers Band see photo), Nepal police, and thousands of devotees took part in this holy chariot festival, living goddess Kumari also witnessing Rath Yatra to Mark the Festival. Rath Yatra (Chariot) begins from Teendhara Pathsala, Durbarmarg to Asan (near Annapurna Temple), Hanumandhoka (near Kaalbhairab Temple) and finally to Lagan where mother of Goddess Seto Machendra Natha temple is situated.
