Sita Air's Dornier 9N AHA Aircraft crashed near the bank of Manohara River today incident area is just 500 far away from T.U. International Airport. In this tragic accident 3 Crew members (Captain Bijay Tandukar, Co-Pilot Takeshi Thapa, Air Hostess Ruja Shakya) and all 16 passengers{7 British, 5 Chinese, 4 Nepali,  – (unconfirmed)} died.

According to news plane was crashed within 2 minutes of take off from the airport. Clear reason of this incident is still to investigate but some of the flight experts said that possibly Plane catched fire on air due to some technical error in aircraft or other possible reason they pointed that plane might had clashed with flying birds which usually happens in the sky of Nepal as we see in news, but till now there was not so big accident took place by clashing with bird in sky.

Plane was on its way to Lukla from the Kathmandu, according to local people plane was on fire while it was on air and about to fall down to crowded slum area but experienced Pilot diverted plane to bank of river  to reduce the casualties. We must salute the effort of Pilot Bijay Tandukar that putting his own life in danger he has saved Human settlement area and reduces the risk of lots of human casualties that could happen if plane was crashed on that area.
