After 18 years Govinda Mainali Return home from Japan, Govinda went to japan 18 years back in expectation to earn good for his better life. But after some time he was arrested in Japan and put into pression for 15 years charging him for rapping and murder of Japanese sex worker.
Innocent Govinda Mainali put into jail for 15 years, while some social activists and Japanese medias strongly condemned this saying Govinda was innocent. After a recent DNA test contradicted the guilty verdict against Mainali and Japanese High Court order him to release. Mainali was arrested for overstay in 1997. The charges of rape and murder were pressed on him after his arrest.
After spending 15 years of precocious life in Jail Mainali was very happy to return home, he show his gratitude touching the ground of Nepal and worshiped the motherland after 18 years. He was accompanied by his Wife and two daughters. In Tribhuwan International Airport whole Mainali family warm welcomed Gobinda with buke and garland of flowers. Lots of media person from Nepal and Japan was present on arrival of Govida at International airport. Japanese media is giving a top priority in this context and giving full support in favor of Govinda so, this is not only victory of Govinda but also victory of Japanese media in support of truth.
