Nepali Origin Saumiya Rai enters in top 7 of Zee Tv’s Reality Show Dance India Dance L’il Master Season 2. Saumiya Rai is 11 years old and recently residing in Darjeeling India with her parents. Her grand father is still living in Biratnagar, Nepal. Her father Ram Kumar Dewan Rai is in police force of Jharkhand, India as Hawaldar.
Saumiya Rai wants to win the Miss Universe pageant one day but for now all she wants to do is dance. She has taken professional coaching from her guru Mr. Raj and specialises in hip-hop. She looks up to Terrence Lewis for inspiration. When Saumiya is not dancing, she spends her time painting, drawing and watching Shinchan.
