Huge people from Kathmandu came to pray Tirupati Balaji in Khulla Manch.

It was first time ever that Statue of Tirupati Balaji & goddess Laxmi taken abroad from India. The original temple of Trirupati Balaji is situated in Tirumala Devsthanam, south India.

According to Organizers till 5:30 more than 2 million devotees offer their devotional pray to God Tirupati Balaji. In Prasad Ladoos (Sweets) were given to devotees which they have brought from Tirupati. Organizers said numbers visitors counted according to Ladoos they have distributed to people (One Ladoo = One visitor).

After 5:30 spiritual "Bibaha Mohatsab" of Balaji were done. This is 108th Ceremony of Bibaha Mohatsab of Bhagwan Balaji. 107 times this event is done in different place of India. It was the first time this event celebrated abroad India (in Nepal).

For this event Priest (Pujaris) from Balaji were also came to Nepal. Ceremony concluded with holly Mantras, Pujas and offerings according to rules and laws they follow till now.

Three doors of Khulla Manch were open for devotees, one for V.I.P's, one for pass holders, and one door for others who were in big queue, line was big as it speared near Bhadra Kali Temple, though queue was big but moving very fast and people enter in main even ground within 20-30 minutes of times.

For this event 2050 Nepal Police, 700 armed police force, and 150 civil dressed corps was mobilized for peace and security.

12 Years Pachali Bhairab Mask Dance performed

This Dance is performed once in 12 years in different place of Kathmandu. For 2 days this dance is performed near by Taleju Bhawani Temple in Basantapur (Jan 20-21, Friday and Saturday). I was bit lucky because when I was returning from my office I saw this dance group going to perform in Basantapur I hade taken some good snaps, lucky in that case because this dance is perform once in 12 years and after 12 years only it is possible to take some snaps like this. This dance is believe to be 470 years old.

In This dance 11 different Hindu goddess mask dance is performed. People offer different pujas and offering in this ceremony. Animals like goats and buffalos are also sacrificed in this event as "Bali Puja."
