Current Minister for Information and Communication Mr. Jay Prakas Prasad Gupta found guilty in Corruption Charges for Illegal Source of Income worth Rs 20.8 Million.
Justices Tarka Raj Bhatta and Shushila Karki from Supreme court sentenced him to put in Jail of 1 and half year and also to fine of Rs 8.1 million rupees for Mr.Gupta.
Akhatiyar Durupayog Anusandhan Ayog (CIAA) has filed a case against him in 2000-2003.
Howere special court judge given him a clean chit in 2007 saying un-sufficient evidence to to prove the guilty.
After final hearing in Court Minister Gupta surrender in court. Police had taken him in custody and send to Dillibazar Jail.
