30th London Olympic officially started from Friday Night, 10,500 Players from 204 Nation are participating in this Olympic, From Nepal 5 Nepali Sportsman is participating in different events :
Sneh Rana - SHOOTING (Womens 10m air rifle)
Prasidhha Jung Shah - SWIMMING (Mens 50m freestyle)
Shreya Dhital - SWIMMING (Womens 100m freestyle)
Pramila Rijal - ATHLETICS (Womens 100m)
Tilak Ram Tharu - ATHLETICS (Mens 100m)
In march-pass Prasidhha Jung shah lead the Nepali Team with National Flag of Nepal, Nepali players are participating Shooting, Swimming and Athletic but surprising no participation in Judo, Karate, Teakwondo or other Martial arts events. Nepali is called the powerhouse of martial arets in Southeast Asia. In SAFF games also Nepal bagged lots of Medals from these games but in London Olympic there is no participation from Nepal for these games.

Bir Gorkha's in London Olympic Security
High security had been arranged for this mega event in London Thousands of security persons had been Mobilized to maintain peace and security.
There is an proud moment for all Nepali People that for this mega event more than 150 Ex-Army from Gorkha Regiment and numbers of soldiers from British Gorkha is also mobilized for Security purpose. They will monitor V.I.P Security, Vehicle Escorting, Perimeter Control and Assess Control including some of main security arrangements for Olympic Stadiums.
